Several months ago, I lost a years worth of blog posts & images because I didn’t realize my account info was out of date. Go Daddy wanted 150 dollars to recover it. My pride wouldn’t allow such transactions to take place. So I’m bitter. Really bitter.
There was some good stuff here, but oh well. I’ll just have to settle for the poorly written anime-related posts from HS that I’m left with.. damn it..all..

Masa ends up catching ‘Edo disease’, and goes to stay with the elder on the outskirts of town, who rationalizes that he doesn’t want to do bad things for money, but needs the income. Looks like other people are better at telling him how he feels, than himself. Well, figure it out already! You’re already making money reluctantly, so either save some face or leave the situation!
Ume is a sweet guy, this gang in general are very considerate to the less fortunate, really loving this show! There was an interesting song at the end of this episode, finally, if the music continues to grab my attention I may not avert my attention solely to the manga.
Though that may happen anyway.
Oi, you look timid...
So I had some sushi last night that has incapacitated me for the day, so I couldn’t make it to work. I’ve never gotten sick from eating sushi, so this was a sneak attack. Waking up 5 times during the night to experience what could only be described as sucker punch to the stomach wasn’t fun stuff. In my downtime however I did watch the first four episodes of House of Five Leaves, and let me just say, LOVE IT. Natsume Ono has a crafted an engaging story: timid samurai Masa ends up working with a group of kidnappers called House of Five Leaves, and while he has reservations about his contributions to said group, he can’t help but appreciate his new companions. Yaichi, the mysterious leader of the group, develops a fondness for Masa that I can’t help but think will lead to danger, fiscal prosperity and a little sub textual bromance. The art style isn’t for everyone, but I’m all for these ugly duckling character designs, didn’t stop me from enjoying Escaflowne or Ono’s previous work, Ristorante Paradiso.
I’m waiting for the music to reel me in, I can’t quite get into bed with a new production until properly serenaded, yes?

I’ve been hearing some amazing dance songs on the Indian station (FunAsia Radio) here, but I don’t have a grasp of the language enough to reiterate song titles properly (in type) to do a search. Half of the time the DJ doesn’t even give the song title! orz
Just picked up Hidamari Sketch volume 1 over my lunch break, I didn’t know it was 4 koma! I can’t resist 4 koma! I blame Azumanga Daioh and Habanero-tan for that..
